FENIX in BREMEN, GERMANY

FENIX embarked on a journey to Bremen, Germany, to participate in the M8 FOREST project's General Assembly meeting held on July 11th and 12th. The prestigious Fraunhofer IFAM research institute graciously hosted the event, where discussions revolved around the project's advancements and future directions.

The assembly commenced with a warm reception from the hosts, who offered an illuminating introduction to their organization, showcasing their expertise and contributions to the field. Marta Estellés from AIMPLAS the coordinator, then took the stage to outline the meeting's agenda and program, ensuring all participants were well-acquainted with the schedule.

Once formalities concluded, the partners eagerly presented their individual contributions, with each member seizing the opportunity to share progress, address challenges, and highlight achievements. This dynamic exchange of ideas nurtured collaboration and knowledge exchange within the consortium, ensuring comprehensive attention to all project facets.

A group photo was captured in front of the impressive IFAM building, featuring partners proudly displaying the meticulously designed FOREST leaflets crafted and distributed by FENIX to aid in dissemination. To commemorate the fruitful gathering, partners reconvened for a guided tour through Bremen's historic city centre, culminating in a delectable dinner at a time-honoured northern German restaurant nestled within a centuries-old cellar.

The second day commenced with thorough discussions and valuable input on the project's current status, guided by an insightful presentation by the coordinator. The assembly's agenda also included presentations by partners responsible for project demonstrators, culminating in strategic planning for the forthcoming meeting.
